Why am I not able to download apps after uninstalling Google Play Services?

Hi all,

I deleted google play services due to some issues I was having and was mistakenly under the impression that I could reinstall it again without too much fuss but that hasn't been the case so now I cannot install any apps nor can I sign into my gmail account to use the playstore, I also tried to add another account but this also has not been possible. Google services framework is also gone.
I have tried adding the apk manually but this not work either.
I will be changing the phone in a few weeks but I'd like to have it working normally before then without having to do a factory reset.
Any advice would be great thanks .

The phone is a very basic LG E400

In order to use Google products you need Google services. I'd maybe try a factory reset to see if it helps restore it.

As mentioned in my previous post someone changed the thread title so I am aware I need GPS to use the play store and also aware that a reset may fix the issue.
I would like if possible to fix the issue without a reset but thanks anyway for your reply.

Reset normally removes, it doesn't add. So it'll remove anything you've added, but it won't bring back files you've deleted. (It's not a copy of the original ROM that reflashes the phone - which is what you need.)
