Why am I not able to make calls or text when I turn the internet on?

Samsung galaxy s5 g900fd network issues

hey , im using samsung s5 G900FD -
I use the first sim for calling and texting while the other for 3g internet but everytime i turn on the internet (3G) ,even though the bars are full i cant seem to call/text or recieve calls and texts using the 1st sim most of the time.
Any suggestions??
Secondly , is there anyway to remove SIM 1 logo from the top status bar??
i am in Pakistan , 1st sim Ufone - second sim Mobink

First off what carrier is the sim for

in Pakistan - using Ufone and Mobilink.
ufone for calling/texting and mobilink for internet.

theyre pretty much clueless - say it probably has to do with your phone model.
