Just upgraded to the S3 yesterday and did a software update and all it gave me was 4.1.1 I thought att was on 4.1.2. Now I don't have multi Window or the other cool features of 4.1.2. What's going on? I would rather not have to spend all day rooting I went to android from ios to get away from that type of thing

Yep. Probably won't see it anytime soon either

Shouldn't be all that long, the 4.1.2 for the S3 has been going around Europe and it always goes across the world first.

I have 4.1.2 and AT&T stripped us of the good parts of the update, mainly being able to customize the notification bar. We got multi-view, I've used it once, turned it off. Other than multi-view, there really isn't a difference in AT&T's 4.1.1 and 4.1.2.

Because I'm on the Note 2 now, see my signature.

The S3 update for 4.1.2 started on the other side of the world in either Dec or Jan. When I got the N2 and it updated to 4.1.2, we found or that AT&T stripped us of a lot that came with it.

MY battery is fine and phone feels much faster than it was on ICS.. You may need to do a factory reset if you say your phone feels slower.

The AT&T version of 4.1.2 was a huge, huge letdown for sure.

I only want 4.1.2 for photosphere and the new camera features and the multi window anyhow. I wasn't even aware of any Notification bar tweaks.

I haven't seen anything about photo sphere listed on this camera. We didn't get the JB functions is the camera when the S3 upgraded to JB.

Photoshpere is included in the premium suite which is what 4.1.2 is.. I dont know about the Note 2 but It will be included in the GS3 update.. Thats if AT&T doesn't interfere with the update.

I have 4.1.2 and don't believe any of us in the USA are getting premium suite at any point soon..

I doubt it will take longer than a couple months if anything. Its already floating around europe.. But you may be right... Especially with the announcement of the Galaxy S4 allegedly happening on March 14.

The note 2 has 4.1.2 with the premium suite as well as Google's project butter.

As for the photo sphere app, it was said in pre release information that it would not be included in the at&t update.

Also, the 4.1.2 is coming for the GS3, just a matter of when now.

Then AT&T has cut much of the features for us.
