Why am i paying for premium data!??

Yes, I have a discount. I had a 15% for the Army, but my employer has a 17% discount, so I went with it. It's $79.00 for 450 anytime minutes, and unlimited everything else. $79.00 - 17% = $65.57 + a few bucks in tax...Edit: It's actually $71.00...just got my bill. Still cheaper than Verizon, better customer service, (by far) and I don't have to worry about streaming Pandora on the way, or at work if I get bored. I don't care if it takes me a minute or two to download an app...I have all the apps I need right now.

However, you shouldn't count the taxes like Sprint is charging them...That is the feds and your State...State taxes are why YMMV.

Just an FYI to piggyback on what HalizDad said: there are tons of discounts available through many employers. Find out if yours is one of them. 10-20+% discounts. If you can't get one of those, and you're a member of a credit union, you can get a 10% discount just for that. But the discount only applies to the basic plan charge, and only on the initial line of service. There isn't a discount across the whole bill, even if you have multiple lines on one account.
