Why am I receiving this error message This video is unavailable on this platform. on Youtube?

"This video is unavailable on this platform." Youtube error msg

Why am I getting this error message trying to play certain YouTube videos on my Note 3? I never got that error message before with my Note 2.

just luck of the draw. Its for videos not set up to run on mobile (no idea why anyone would turn that off on their videos). you could try running it in chrome in desktop mode. Or just viewing from your computer.

It started happening after the last YouTube update. I haven't updated it because of that. Mine still play fine. If you go in and read the comments in the Play Store you will see a lot of comments of this happening after the update. I don't think it is the phone at all.

By the way, I noticed that the same video using the YouTube app that wouldn't play on my Note 3 would play fine by using the Note 3's stock "Internet" app and going to YouTube Anyway, this little workaround works, so it will have to do for now.
