Why am I unable to get incoming calls but I am able to do outgoing calls from my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos?

Unable to get incoming calls but i am able to do outgoing calls from Samsung Galaxy grand duos

Phone : Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos(I9082)
Purchased Country: Abu Dhabi
Using in : India

Problem: Till now it is working fine from last 3 yrs. But now i had a problem with my phone. I am unable to get incoming calls but able to do outgoing calls. So i went to Samsung service center and he told me that there is a OS related problem. Apart from that everything seems to be working fine.

Can someone suggest me a solution how to rectify this particular problem. Any help is highly aprreciated !!

What did the tech say is the suggested solution to fix the problem if it's an OS issue?

First, I would suggest making sure that the APNs are correct for your carrier. If that turns out to be OK then consider a factory reset (backup data and sync accounts before you reset). Boot and see how that works out.
