Why am I unable to login to my Play Store since updating?

Sync error

my samsung note2 device was updated day before yesterday and eve since that time i am not being able to log into my play store app. it reads Authentication required, please sign into your google account, i am already signed into my google account. whe n i went to my sync settings...it reads Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly
can some help me on this issue please URGENTLY..
 
'Sync experiencing problems' is a common message. It will sort itself out.

Try clearing the cache in Google Play Store in the app manager, then Power Off and Restart.
