Why am I unable to sign into my email to use my Google Play store?

am having trouble to sign in n setting an email to use my google play, its says cant establish connection to server...but am using wifi frm home n whn browsing n watching yutube its working perfectly...pls help

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does it work on mobile data? Try going to Settings>Accounts, remove your Google account completely, then add it back again.
