AC Question
Hello.
My Galaxy A6 2016 by itself downloaded the update to Android 6 in the beginning of september 2016 and informed me to press a button to start upgrading. So I really did not have a real choice whether to upgrade or not from Android 5 which way really OK for me. And now I am really mad. Three things not working on my Galaxy A6 2016 with the Android 6:
1. OTG support. USB endoscope which worked on Android 5 and is still working on my friend's phones with older OS's than Android 6 does not work any more. OTG checker displays that OTG functionality is OK but the gadget does not work. The LED light operates but there is no picture.
2. WiFi stays connected to the network it was connected before even though the network is not present any more for more than an hour! One must then first detect that this is really happening at all (data flow is not possible) and then by hand open the configuration menu and disable the WiFi and after that enable it again.
3. Camera does not write to the SD card. (This is the worst!!!) Ocassionally when using the Camera (1 time out of 5), upon taking a picture it displays, that it can not write to SD card (where all my other camera photos are and have been for years without any problems) but that it will write to the device and then it changes the camera settings accordingly. (SD cars is 64 GB and half empty!) Now that really bothers me! I then have to go to config and memory menu, unmount the SD card, mount it back again and go to the file explorer, find the folder on the device, select the photos and move them to the proper folder on the SD card. Then I have to go to camera again and set the default folder back to the SD card!?!
I mean... WTH?! Are the developers of Android 6 joking or is this some candid camera test?! This should not have happened! This is back to the stone age. Why can't they just leave the things that work the way they are?!? Don't fix it if it ain't broken!
So here is my question: When will this be fixed and ready to download for Galaxy A6 2016?
INFO of the device:
Model: SM-A510AF
Android: 6.0.1
Kernel: 3.10.61-8208732, Aug 6, 2016
KNOX: 2.6
Security update for Android: Aug 1., 2016
Thank you!
