Android Central Question

Since ~2 months my galaxy s8+ started to kill every but last 4 apps during night.
If I let some open task, let's say, at 5th position older I simply lost it all cuz the phone kills it.
This is starting to driving me crazy.
I have disablade every battery, Ram saver the device have (but I'm open to suggestions)

Desperated, I've done 2 hard resets.
On first, restoring data (apps, media) and configs. Still doing the same think
On second, I've restored apps and media only.
What I can do but not much willing to is, hard reset it and restore absolutely nothing to know if it is a device problem...

But if someone can suggest something that helps for me don't have to do it I appreciate

I'm not clear why it's that important to have last night apps today, unless there's an underlying issue which can lead to other problems. Hopefully it's just a personal choice and maybe you have a great reason.

So now trouble shooting questions.
How long has it been behaving this way?
Are you running an app that is a memory hog? We really need to know more about the device and situation in order to help

As suggested, consider registering so we can continue to assist you.

Let's imagine you do some homework or job work at night on the device... Then you decide to let do to the rest tomorrow, and go check another apps. What is happening with me is, if I for an example open 4 new apps (which will put the working app at 5th), in the next day when I click 3 dots to check all opened apps it will only lists the last 4 used. 5th and above just seemingly to disapear, don't even lists it... Result: lost task

Which for me is a problem beyond that cuz i have an old A30 device and if I click 3 dots to check opened apps I can see apps opened last year end

~ 2 months.
No memory leak that I noticed, I've checked samsung device manager and I don't see any abnormal activity.

Which additional information you need? it's ansS8+ SM-G955FD

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure -- you don't have any 3rd party "RAM booster" apps installed, right?

Samsung has gotten more aggressive lately when it comes to killing apps in the background in order get more battery life -- this is what Huawei and other Chinese companies love to do, and this somewhat misguided approach is starting to creep into other companies' firmware. Since it's at the firmware level, there may not be much you can do. You can try forcing your important apps not to sleep in your Device Care. https://dontkillmyapp.com/samsung

I don't use Ram booster.

And I didn't knew about these news politics, but I still think my problem is an isolated one cuz I find no other person relating this specific problem.

But as I said in the original post that I'm not willing to hard reset it again, I'll do it anyways, i will do it again and restore only message apps I use for work . I'm putting all hopes on this right now and tomorrow I'll see the effects of my last try and relate it here

There's actually been quite a bit of posting about apps being killed in the background on more recent Samsung phones (these, for example: https://forums.androidcentral.com/s...app-keep-getting-killed-every-8-12-hours.html, https://forums.androidcentral.com/s...nagement-bad-downright-awful.html#post6752467), and there's also that website I linked -- did you read it? (Not sure what you mean by "news politics.")

I don't think doing another factory reset will help, since it's probably baked into the firmware.

I did It again anyways and I would like to report that you right,

It didn't fix

If it is the new firmware politics you mentioned I hope they review and regret it.

No solution for this one
