Why are apps removed from my home screen

[Android Central Question]

I have a Galaxy S10. It's constantly deleting apps from my home screen, even ones that I frequently use. I've tried turning off permissions to remove unused apps but that doesnt help. How do I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Are the apps actually getting uninstalled, or is it just that the shortcuts are being removed from the homescreen?
