Why are Google Apps activating themselves after deactivation?

I have a Huawei P30 with Android 9 since Black Friday. The first thing I did was deactivate a couple of Google Apps (it's not possible to delete them).

In use: Googel Maps, Drive, Gmail and the Play Store.

Deactivated: Google, Chrome, Duo, Fotos, Google Play Movies, Google Play Music, Memo, Youtube and the "office" apps

Now the problem. Since the first night, Youtube, Chrome, Duo and Fotos are active again and appearing back on the homescreen.......all the other apps are still deactivated.

I deactivated the 4 apps again, and they appeared back the next day (sometimes they're already installed, sometimes I see how they are installing in the morning when I unlock the phone).

Then, I tried to stop them before deactivating, update them before deactivating and keeping them for one day before deactivating again. Still, they always appear back on the homescreen.

I searched the forum, but the closest I found to my question was regarding the activation in the background.

On the Xperia XZ1 they stayed deactivated.

What else can I try? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! If you Disabled the apps in Settings>Apps and then they got re-enabled somehow, they still shouldn't automatically show up on your homescreen (unless your launcher doesn't have an App Drawer).
