Why are my apps being so laggy?

My internet consuming apps take a while to start up. This is very unusual behaviour. It happens on my mother's phone as well.
The phone works perfectly on mobile data, but on all wifi networks, my apps lag. Apps like Twitter, Chrome, Spotify and Gmail need a while to start up. It's as if they're disconnected from the internet. My Instagram doesn't even fully load in which makes it completely useless.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A51 bought earlier this year, the same thing happened on my old phone, a Samsung Galaxy s6.

The local IP address is just for your own wi-fi network. That's different from the public IP address. https://www.h3xed.com/web-and-inter... the same purpose,and devices connected to it.

I'd suggest doing a factory reset of the router, but this would mean setting up your wi-fi network again, and I'm not sure you'd feel comfortable with that. Do you have any tech-savvy friends or family who can help you?
