Why are my apps disappearing from edge screen?

Note 10+ brand new, bought a day ago. I add my apps to the edge screen and later they are gone. I add them to the edge screen again and they disappear. Tried restarting. Phone is current with all updates.
 
Welcome to Android Central! I know you just got your phone, but try booting it into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists? Are you using any launchers or are you using the stock Samsung setup?
 
I suppose stock? All I did was transfer my apps etc from old note 8. I'm not an advanced user so I doubt I use launchers lol honestly idk what that even is.

Do all the apps disappear or just some? Whenever some apps are updated I've noticed I have to replace them on the edge panel apps. I once had a particular contact that kept on disappearing for no obvious reason. Try clearing the cache of EDGE APPS. Several times in the past doing that solved some issues I've was having with one or two of my edge apps
 
Why do moderators move the threads to a specific device when the problem is not device specific? Some apps on the Edge panel of my s9+ randomly disappear, not all of them. I noticed it after a few updates back around the same time my phone started random notifications that sound like the NBC chime. Also a thread that was moved to a specific device although i read many people with various Samsung devices were having the same issue

Hello ,

We move them to see if anyone else with that device has run into the issue, there is more traffic where members can see OP issue. We dont have dedicated forum for Edge panel . Hope that clears it up for you .
