I have an LG G6 on the Sprint network with Android version 8.0. Ever since I updated, I've received a few annoyances but I can deal with them. The main problem is: although my notification settings on my phone and within the Facebook app are set the way they should be, my notifications are piling and as if you had data turned off for a few hours, and then turned it back on and you had a rush of notifications come to your phone. I have uninstalled the Facebook app and reinstalled it. And I actually just received a new Android update which I suppose added some enhancements and maybe security features but it didn't seem to solve the problem.
No other apps are experiencing this except for occasionally my email. I have my email set to sync every 15 minutes but sometimes I'll get up in the morning, and check my email and lo and behold, the latest emails are from yesterday and I have to refresh it. This only happens sometimes. The main problems with the Facebook app. I don't know what's going on with delayed notifications. It seems like the apps are hibernating or something.
