why is my samsung galaxy apps in a foreign language

When I try to go on my samsung galaxy apps thread it is in a foreign language but I bought it in England and set it up in England and have an English IP address as I live in England. Please can anybody help me?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by your Galaxy Apps thread? Do you mean the Galaxy Store, Samsung's app store?

Where did you buy the device from? Was it brand new, from a big retailer? Or from some discount shop? It sounds like you may have gotten an Asian version, with firmware intended for an Asian country. I'd bring it back to the store and ask for a refund or exchange.
