SMS failing to send
I was, until recently using Go SMS Pro to send and receive texts. About a week or so ago (about 2 - 3 months after its download) I noticed that certain SMS messages were not being sent. This was random, some would and others would not. The incoming ones always came through, it was just outgoing messages which would not work.
I have now deleted this app and gone back to the stock app which was pre -installed to see of that makes a difference but it doesn't.
I've contacted my service provider (EE) who have gone through a few bits etc but they cannot send a setting reset message for some reason.
Their advice was to back up the phone and do a factory reset - in other words lose everything I have downloaded and then have to go through the rigmarole of downloading and setting up the phone again.
Surely there must be a better option than that!!
