Txt notifications fails to play through
I am using ChompSMS as my txt app and have posted the following question to them which they "cannot replicate".
I am tempted to switch apps but I paid for this one plus I don't really think it's the app; but I could be wrong.
Here's the problem. When a text arrives the ringtone; "Tinkerbell", a 7 second ring tone, sometimes plays to the end, sometimes only plays for a second, and sometimes does not at all! I've tried built in ringtones and they behave the same way. So I have to constantly check my phone for txt messages!
The question is; is this my phone, the app, or something else?
I have a Galaxy Nexus, 4.2.2 Build # JDQ39.
