why are new text messages showing as email?

I have several email accounts set up on the phone, new text messages are showing as emails in my exchange account...what the hell?

Solved....under settings there is an option to sync sms...i have no idea why, but it's there

Nevermind I found it. It was under the settings for my hotmail email account. Thanks
