Why are some apps not visible in app manager?

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung S5 running Android 6.0. I installed an SD card in it for the first time today. While trying to move apps to the card, not all of them appear in the app manager. These are apps that are enabled, updated, and some are used frequently. What can cause this, and is there a fix?

Secondly, when viewing my internal used storage space, it shows that my installed apps are using >6 GB. On the apps tab, it shows a total of 58 apps (yes, I counted them). I know there are other factory installed apps that are not shown on the apps tab. Does it seem normal for this amount of apps to use so much storage?
