Why are some pics I take grayed out on my Galaxy S5?

Galaxy S5

I'm having problems with pictures. Sometimes I take a pictues look at it, close it. When I reopen it half the pic is greyed out or the whole pic is gone and question mark comes up.

I wonder if going into settings, apps & clearing the cameras cache would help.
Seems I read that somewhere...
