Why are the pictures in my texts not what they should be?

Whenever I RECEIVE a picture text from anyone, the picture I receive is from my gallery that I deleted a month ago.

I had taken a picture of my schedule from work, deleted it the following week because it changes, but ever since then, that is the only picture that appears whenever someone tries to send me a picture if anything.

My brother tried to send me a picture of their new puppy and all I see is my old work schedule.

Does anyone else have this issue? Or does anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? First, go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, select Messages and Messaging Storage, and clear the cache of both of them. If the problem persists, try wiping the cache partition, if possible on your phone (let us know which one you have for more guidance).
