Why are the sub folders in folders on my SD card all opening instead of the main title?

I inserted my mini SD card yesterday, it was loaded with folders like "travel pics" and "racing events," so when I looked on the phone all the folders in the main folder were also open...all 25 states and a myriad of other locations. How do I keep them all in the original folder?

Sorry, can you clarify your question? How are you looking at the folders -- using a file manager app, or a gallery app, or something else?

You should also be aware that the "original folder" of the SD card is the SD card. If you're looking in Gallery, or some other picture display app, there are a few ways pictures can be displayed - by folder, by date, by name, etc. Pictures are normally in /DCIM/Camera/<some other folder that you create> like "travel pics". But in Gallery, if you have them listed by date, and you took your travel pics and racing events on the same data, they'll all show together, as if they were in the same folder. They're not, they were taken (or moved - it's the last modified date that the date display runs by, and copying is modifying) on the same date.
