Why are there 2 Pixel forums?

Since the only real difference between the Pixel and the XL is the size, does it make sense to have them as separate forums? I wonder how many conversations would be specific to the particular device. I would guess that most of what is interesting will apply to both, and it would be easier to follow as a single forum.

I humbly suggest a merge prior to launch so it is less of a mess to merge.

It makes sense because they are two different sized phones.

Also when it comes to specific things, like cases, screen protectors, size comparisons, it's just better to have separate forums.

It really makes no sense. The only difference is the screen size and battery. Ive been following both.

I rather have 1 also. Other than case, the 2 forums really talk about a lot of the same things. I find myself keep going back and forth between the two.

2 is ok but please put both in the drop down under "Forum". I selected Google Pixel and assumed that was only forum. 1 week later found this one.

I think it's fine to have to different forum for it, but it will be better if both of them was listed under Pixel phone category and separate it afterward.

I find it interesting that you said that it doesn't make sense but you mentioned that one of the only differences is the battery. I think that's enough of a difference, because battery life itself might vary or it might be equivalent. It's easy to lose track of such a discussion when there are 2 models involved.

I don't know about you, but I would like to know if the battery life on the Pixel is about equal to the XL or is it worse?

Resolved. One forum only. I moved all of the existing subdomains in as well. Hope this helps
