Why are there clouds on my pictures?

^ is a picture to what i'm seeing

That may be a notification wanting you to back up the photos. Long pressing on it should get rid of it and show your pics....

Why when i long press or download it, it still doesn't view the photos? And still have cloud with arrow in pictures? How to fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you also have a Galaxy A5? If not, which phone? As asked before, are these photos saved to Internal Storage or the SD card?

If you use a file manager app (like Samsung's My Files or Google's Files by Google) to look in the /DCIM/Camera directory, do the photos show up there?

Hi, I'm having the same issue I'm hoping you can help
I have an Oppo a54 and the photos with this symbol aren't showing up in my googlefiles/ files elsewhere
Backup to Google photos is turned on and always has been, never had an issue before
And I believe some are on SD card, some internal storage
I'd really appreciate any help!

Welcome to AC!
Are your photos set to go directly to your SD card?

Welcome to Android Central! In the Google Photos app, go to Library, then under "Photos on device", tap View All. Now look at the various folders there. Do any have a cloud with a line through it? If so, then those folders aren't backing up to your Google Photos. You can turn on backup for specific folders by tapping them and turning the Backup toggle on there.

Thank you, on Google photos there is nowhere that says 'photos on device' and the images aren't showing up on there at all, not even coming up but with me unable to view them
Backup is turned on for all
