Currently have a canadian s7 edge, but eyeing up my next phone. Anyone know of a smaller current Gen phone out there with strong specs? An s9 mini would be perfect.... But

I like my V30. It got smaller while the screen got bigger. Beast too. No one else does a wide angle camera and it uses the earpiece as a mic automatically for concert mode when things get really loud.

If you want high spec Android and really small, get a Unihertz snartphone! We have a few of these and use them as emergency phones / walkie-talkies on family outings when we don't want everyone distracted by their main phones!

Well most phones these days are the same size as the s7 edge, just with smaller bezels and a bigger screen. Win, win? In fact the s9 is smaller in width but a bit taller.

Before the s7 edge, I had an alpha. The size was perfect, but crap battery life and it really start to slow down. My son has it now to watch YouTube on. Before the alpha I had the note 4, 3, 2 and original galaxy S fascinate. But something like the size of the alpha would be mint.... With today's internals of course. (never going back to apple... Had the iPhone 3g when new, and been on Android since.)

The s9+ is only a tad longer n wider than the s7 edge and feels grippier/nicer in the hand (that's what she said), so an s9 should be perfect. Unless you are unhappy with the size of the s7edge too?

Pretty sure the S9 (not the +) is smaller than your S7
