Why aren't birthday events showing on my Xperia M2 calendar widget?

Birthday events not showing on xperia M2 calendar widget .

Hello Guys,

Am new here ..

i own a xperia M2 dual (kitkat) ..

Calendar widget doesn't show any upcoming events .. All it shows is "No Upcoming Events"

But the app works fine .. When i open the app it shows the events down there .. But not the widget ..

I synced everything(xperia with facebook, google)

Please tel me how can i fix this

This might be limited to the stock widget. Take a look at a few calendar alternatives in the Play Store. There's greater flexibility with the customization that can be done and information that can be displayed, including widget options.
