Why aren't I getting notifications?

No, notifications.

I have the lg g flex, and up until recently have had very little problems with it.
About a week and a half ago I stopped receiving all push notifications unless I am connected to WiFi. I feel there are some other issues that I am having that are relevant to the main issue.
I cannot send or receive snapchats. My phone will not connect to the flixter app server when trying to view movies I own. However, during all of this my data is turned on and have excellent signal strength. I have tried many things and have had no success. I am very close to using my phone as a clay pigeon. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried booting your phone in safe mode? That could tell you if there's a problem with your system or just a conflict with an app that you downloaded. Tell us if that makes a difference.
