Why arent most of the good games availble for gs3

I am sorta new to Android, and im trying to understand want most of the top games I.e. gameloft and others not compatable with the GS3? And being that these publishers are pretty big, you would think they would make them compatible. Can someone break this down for me

NBA 2k13, Horn (not gameloft), games like plan vs zombies, etc..seems like I cannot play any of the good ones out there on my phone, and its not like the GS3 doesn't have the power to play them.

I'm playing it on mine, but it needs to be the Play Store version... I originally bought the version on the Gameloft site, and it kept erroring out.
