Why aren't my Google Drive photos syncing?

Google Drive photo syncing

Hi all,

How can I sync my photos automatically to my Google Drive? I don't want to use stupid Google Photos or Google+. I just want good old photo syncing like Dropbox. I want to see the actual image file on my computer. Is there any way to do this?

There is no automatic syncing of photos to Google Drive. You'd have to share each individual photo or folder to Google Drive (using the Gallery or Photos app, or a file manager app). The Photos app has an option to show your Google Drive photos

I used to use an app to automatically sync photos to Google Drive, I think it was called cloud vault, but then the Google+ photos app started offering the same thing plus auto enhancements and auto awesome enhancements so I just started using that instead.
