why aren't my yahoo folder syncing between my phone and my desktop?

When I add or delete yahoo mail folders on my desktop the changes don't also happen on my phone and vice versa. Why is this and how do I fix it?

Do you have yahoo configured to IMAP or POP3 ?

Welcome to Android Central! Syncing email folders requires that you use the IMAP server settings, not POP3.
