Why buy from Best Buy?

I did the BB pre-order the first day before the RS offer was even announced. What would I need to do at this point in order to get the $20? Do I just bring something with me on the 4th or would I need to go back beforehand? And do I actually need a hardcopy of the ad or will they know what I'm talking about?

Stupid question about the Geek Squad Black Tie Protection Plan.

I use Sprints plan and if something should happen (cracked screen ect) I have to pay like $100 to get another phone (refurb at that). With the Geek plan do you still have to pay a fee?

Just trying to clearly understand the no deductible statement.

From the sound of it, it seems like a better option than Sprints.

No, We do not charge a deductible for anything. We send your phone to our service center and attempt to get it fixed... If for any reason it can't be fixed or takes too long, We will give you a brand new phone. No Refurbs.

The last 5 replacements I have received from Sprint were new in the box and included all the accessories.

That does sound much better than Sprint's. I have to replace several phones and I just get the refurbs from the insurance company (Assurion) after I pay $100.

So are the only downsides to the Black Tie warranty (Best buy Insurance) is that it does not cover Lost or Stolen phones and also it may take a few days to get your phone back?

If that's the case, I might drop my Sprint insurance because I haven't lost a phone or had it stolen (*knock on wood*) and mainly use it only for accidental damages and having to pay $100 deductible.

Anyone have any feedback on this? also if it is a manufacturer defect, Sprint should handle it in store as well right?
