Why can’t I answer phone from screen after updating my S8 to iOS 9?

Had to change settings and use volume up button to answer... not cool

S8 or 8S (which never existed)? The first is a Samsung and runs Android. The second is an iPhone and runs iOS. and the current version of iOS is 12 - 9 is way outdated.

Android and iOS are like Linux and Windows, or Chevy and Pratt & Whitney.

I'm not trying to be difficult - I can't answer your question (no one can) unless we know what phone and what version of which system you're running, and an S8 wouldn't even load iOS, let alone run it.
