why can’t i wipe data/factory reset on my tab A

i did the hard reset but there is no option to wipe data and factory reset

So... you booted to Recovery? Why can't you do it through the Settings menu when logged in to the tablet?

Has this always been your tablet, or did it belong to somebody else?
