Android Central Question

On my home wifi my games online work just fine but when I go to school and use there wifi I can watch YouTube videos and browse the internet but when i go into online games such as among us and try to play my games I keep getting disconnected does anyone have a fix or any ideas about this beacause it’ll really help thanks😁

Depending on the type of school (high school? college?) it could be that they're blocking the traffic. This is being done for a reason, we try to avoid discussion of bypassing such blocks.

Welcome to Android Central! It's pretty clear that the school's IT department is blocking online access to games. Apart from being a total distraction from what you're supposed to be doing in school, it could also eat up a lot of bandwidth needed for actual educational and administrative purposes.

If you're trying to play on your off time at school, then use your own mobile data.

@B. Diddy notes, bandwidth preservation is important right now. There company I work for took some measure early on to ensure those needing to connect remotely could do so with some speed. Blocking games would ensure that remote learning can happen as needed.

Sounds like the school is blocking them, my school did the same thing a decade ago to conserve bandwidth for educational purposes.
