why can I recieve phone calls but i can't call out to anyone on my Samsung Galaxy S5

i can answer all incoming calls but when i try to make a outgoing call its slient

Try to activate the SpeakerPhone when you use the dialer.

if that works, you just might have a Bluetooth device somewhere registered to your phone and it is diverting the audio from the speaker/earpiece.

Not really an expert but have you tried restarting your phone? it could be your provider
