why can't 2nd User store to SD Card

[Android Central Question]

I Have a Galaxy S2 Tablet with a 32gb SD card inserted. when i use excel app and want to save a document it shows both internal storage and the SD card and i have no problem saving to either, however, my wife is a second User on the tablet and when she's logged in on her account and uses excel, if she tries to save a document it only shows the internal storge and not the SD card

any ideas????

Read, write and execute are on a "by user" basis. Evidently your username has write permissions to the card but her username doesn't. Bassic Linux (which is the operating system that Android runs on).
