Why can't I activate my Huawei Mate 8?

Can't activate Huawei Mate 8

Got BNIB and opened it up. Popped in VZW SIM and it won't activate. I recieved an error indicating "This phone is compatiable with China Telecom cards only. Please install a China Telecom Card.

Ugh, please Help!!

Welcome to Android Central!

The Mate 8 does not support Verizon CDMA. It does not have CDMA radios, its only for GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.
