Why can't I add a profile picture on my S8?

Help ! I have tried EDIT, adding a new contact and going from gallery. I have done it before.

Here's how I did it:
- Open your contact
- Click Edit
- In the upper right-hand corner of the contact's image, you will see a minus sign in a white circle. Click it.
- You can now replace it by taking a photo, selecting one of the stock images, or selecting an image from your gallery, depending on the option you select
- Save
