Cannot add to favorites from sim card
I have a Galaxy S Duos running android 4.2.2. In my phone I would like to add two or three of my telephone contacts to the favorites list. I only want names and phone numbers from the people I call regularly. They are shown as being stored on my sim card (sim card 2). When I tap the menu key and then tap Add to favorites, I get a list that seems to be my Gmail contact list, plus a bunch of other addresses that I have never contacted. Some may be friends of friends on facebook, I don't know them and don't want to contact them. None of the names are from my sim card. How can I get rid of the dozens of unwanted names from my Gmail account in the phone app?
