Why cant i change my lock screen Wallpaper ?

I have been trying from a long time.. Yet i am not able to change the wallpaper ..i tried all the methods. Please help. Any method. My phone is a vivov9.

Welcome to Android Central! Some launchers don't allow the user to change the lockscreen wallpaper. If the phone doesn't give you the option when you select a wallpaper, then it's not possible.

I have a similar issue with my S10e. I can change my wallpaper, but I just want a solid color for the lockscreen. I have text on it, & it's hard to see. Or any way to change the text color on there? I'm thinking not. Also, I find it very confusing changing the wallpaper on the lockscreen vs home screen. Can someone go over the steps for each? It seems like I'm changing one but it changes the other instead. Thanks.
