Why can't I connect to my car bluetooth now that my Android is paired with my Gear S3?

Hello - I used to have a Fit Bit with no issue at all, but now that I have a Gear s3, I cannot use the bluetooth in my car to make or receive calls. I can't even manually connect to the phone. My phone is paired to my car and used to automatically connect once I turned on bluetooth, but now that I have a Gear, it will not connect at all, even manually! This is very frustrating. Ready to just go back to a simple Fit Bit! The sleeping app is better than on the Gear S3 anyway! Anyone know how to fix this? Does it have something to do with driving mode and Bluetooth? Every time I turn on my bluetooth, it thinks I am driving and people receive texts saying I can't answer them because I am driving!

Go to Settings, Connections, Bluetooth, and tap on your car to connect(it should be on the list of paired devices).
