Why cant i copy items from my Windows PC to my android Phone

[Android Central Question]

Greetings,
Whenever i try copying some files and photos from my PC to my android phone i get this notification, "Cannot copy item, The device has stopped working or has been disconnected". How do i solve this.

Have you tried a different USB port on your PC?
