Why can't I download email attachments?

Cannot download email attachments

Hi all,
Got a problem with my Galaxys 6 which has stopped downloading email attachments,the blue bar just keeps going across the screen as if its going to start but nothing happens.Tried it on different formats but all the same and also with and without wifi.

Check your storage space. The phone may be full.
