Why can't I enable my fast charging?

why i can't enable my fast charging?

My note 4 can't use fast charging. My fast charging option is on but everytime i charge my note 4 there is no notification like "fast charging is on".

Fast charging is done through the charger itself. I don't see any indication on my Note 4 so it likely a feature Samsung has not put in the OS.

Are you using the OEM charger that came with the phone? If your phone has the option enabled, the only other suspect is the charger.
If you aren't using the charger that came with your phone or another Qualcomm approved quick charger, there is your problem.
If you are, the charger or cable is bad. First, try moving the charger to another outlet on another wall, if you haven't tried this already. If that doesn't work, do you have access to another cable? If not, I would take it to the store you purchased it from. See if they have one available to try in the store to confirm it's not your phone.

No, it's there. If you're charging with a Quick Charge charger then pull down your notification bar and it will say "Use Fast Charging, Fast Charger Connected."

My notification shade shows this.

Is "fast charging" checked under Battery? I can only check and u check it when I am not charging.

Also, are you using the charging block that came with the phone?

I am using original charger which come with the phone fast charging was working prperly before the last update , after it does not work it take more than 3 hours, if using mobile with gps on the battery charge level remain same level even plugged to lighter car adapter ,
When charger plugged the power fast charger check become lighter not green and it is freezed , when charger off it become green and the box could be checked or not
It must be after ladt software update changing to android 5.1.

I noticed the same thing after the software update.... it no longer says fast charging on the top bar when plugged in. I guess they just set it as a default feature now, even though it doesn't charge anywhere close to "fast charging".

As far as I know, from my own research you cannot manually turn it on anymore. Stupid updates...
