Why can't I factory reset my S4 Mini

I have recently rooted my S4 Mini so I can remove bloatware and save memory, by mistake I removed something important and now I receive this message:

"Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped."

So to fix this I tried factory resetting my device. I am unable to to hard reset it and reset through my phones settings.

Switch off the phone. Press the following combination of keys at the same time, Home, Volume Up and Power button so that you can go to recovery. In recovery you should be able to factory reset. I'm not sure how you rooted and therefore not sure whether you have custom recovery installed our still the stock recovery.

Factory reset might not help with a deleted component, you might need to download the stock ROM of the device and flash it to sort out the issue. For your sake I hope not. Next time use Titanium Backup to back up whatever component you want to remove before removing it so that if you hit a problem you can simply restore.
