Android Central Question

If I want to use my Samsung S5 phone to upload a file which I have transfered from the computer to the phone I can never find it. It seems that the Samsung S5 treats those files as non-existing. It doesn't matter whether I transfer it, or after it has been transfered copy it, to the download folder, the core of the phone, or onto a new folder on the phone, my S5 can't find it.

Is this something that is, so called, working as designed or is it some kind of fault with my phone? What ever the answer to that question is, is there any way to solve it? Is there for example an interface-app I can use which will solve this problem or an app I can use to help me write some source code to solve the problem?

It would be great if someone knew of a solution, except buying another phone, to solve this issue.

Welcome to Android Central! How are you transferring the files from the PC to the phone -- using Windows Explorer via USB connection? And how are you looking for the file in your phone -- using the My Files file manager app, or some other 3rd party file manager?
