Why can't I find my gallery folder again with all my documents in it?

I have to update my phone and ever since then I could not find my gallery folder again.

Is it a default folder or a folder created by yourself? Is there any other folder or file missing? Usually, phone camera photos are saved to DCIM folder.

You can try to find it on your computer, connect your phone to PC via a USB cable, and ento into DCIM folder, if you still can't find the photos, unfortunately, you may have lost them during the update.

The pictures from your camera are usually in the folder "/DCIM".
Downloaded files are often in the folder "/Downloads".
User-created documents are often in the folder "/Documents".


"Gallery" is not a location/folder. It is a picture viewing app with no cares about the location of the pictures.
