Why can't I get calls from one of my contacts?

I have an LG Android and a bout a month ago I was no longer able to get calls or texts from one of my very important contact, my mother. This has never been an issue the 2 yrs Ive had this phone/ service. She's not blocked and she receives all of my calls & texts no problem. She has an Android phone too. How do I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which LG phone do you have, and which carrier are both of you on? Can your mother call other people without difficulty? Do her calls go straight to voicemail when she tries to call you?
