Why can't I get my mobile data signal on my Samsung S4 Active?

cannot get mobile data signal on samsung s4 active

wifi works well but for some reason the mobile data will not connect even when it is switched one

Welcome to Android Central! Which carrier? Did you get the phone from your carrier, or was it from somewhere else? If it's from somewhere else, make sure the APN settings are correct for the carrier. It would also be worth contacting your carrier and discussing the issue with them--they might want to give you a new SIM card.

I have a similar issue that when I open internet, email etc I often have to restart so my 4G service will recognise the network.
